Atlantic American Fire Equipment Company is a distributor of fire protection products to fire sprinkler contractors. The MicBlast corrosion inhibiting system is designed to supply low pressure supervisory nitrogen a clean dry non-flammable inert gas to pre-action and dry sprinkler system. Traditionally compressed air is used as a supervisory gas for such systems. The constant availability of oxygen in the compressed air supports corrosion of the steel piping in the presence of moisture which is almost always present.
